## Data we collect
- Contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided, message content, engagement of interest, year-end date)
- Technical data such as browser type and pages visited when analytics cookies are accepted
- Client engagement data necessary to perform financial auditing work (processed under the engagement letter and professional confidentiality)
We do not ask for payment card numbers through this website.
## Purposes
We use personal data to respond to inquiries, prepare engagement letters and estimates, deliver audit and related services, meet professional and legal record-keeping duties, and — if you consent — send occasional field notes by email.
## Legal bases
Depending on context, we rely on steps prior to entering a contract, performance of an engagement, compliance with legal obligations applicable in Japan, and consent where required (for optional analytics or newsletter subscription).
## Retention
Inquiry messages are retained for up to 24 months if no engagement follows. Engagement files are retained for periods required by professional standards and Japanese law, typically several years after the engagement ends. Analytics data, when collected, is retained according to the tool’s settings, generally no longer than 26 months.
## Your rights
Subject to applicable Japanese law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data we hold, and you may withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact hello@server-infrastructureio.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent personal information protection authority in Japan.
## International transfers
Our practice is based in Japan. If a processor outside Japan is used (for example, email or hosting), we take steps appropriate under Japanese requirements, such as contractual safeguards, before transferring personal data.
## Security
We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of engagement and inquiry data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
## Cookies
See our [cookies page](/cookies/) for details on essential and analytics cookies and how to manage preferences.
